I have stayed at Gouldings 2 times for 4 nights each time. I liked it very well. The first time I stayed there I found it a bit different. First, the campground was nearly empty until late in the day. Then, within about one hour, it filled up, mostly with rental class C's. Many of the people in these RV's were from Europe. Since all they have to drive is the RV, they tend to stay out most of the day and come in late afternoon. This is why the campground has lot of small sites to cater to these rentals.
My 5th wheel is just over 30 feet with one slide. I did not have any problem either time that I stayed there. Since the Goulding web site doesn't show much of the campground, here are a couple of pictures that I took late one afternoon.

I've stayed at both Gouldings and Cadillac Ranch, and unless you really need a short drive to get to Monument (for example to take nighttime photos of the monuments) I'd stay at Cadillac Ranch. If you do, drive out to Mule Canyon and see "House on Fire".
