Where will you be working? How long are you willing to commute?

I'd be careful of Candlestick due the neighborhood. Treasure Island MH and RV Park in South San Francisco might work - not the greatest but close to BART.

Depends on what city you're going to work in and if you want to commute with the beast or take light rail.
San Francisco to San Jose is a wide area and a long commute no matter what you take.

We have stayed in San Francisco RV Resort in Pacifica City south of SF. Nice park. Expensive so don't know about living there. Small spaces but would easily handle your rig.
