DH and I are plannng to.spend a week at the end of August in the Gunnison area. We have a 37 ft triple axle fiver. Has anyone with a rig that size stayed in Loop B that has electricity? If so, is there good maneuverability? Thanks for your help.

We seen some long rigs in that loop. Try using Google Maps. They have street view in this CG. Sites like B7, B19, and B21 are 75' long or so. More campsite pictures here.

We spent last night at South Rim in Site B7. B7 is a pull-through; a little snug, but no problem. I didn't really look much at the other sites. Recreation.gov provides a description of each site.

We camped there last summer with a 31' TT. Nice CG with adequate room. The only problem we had was running the deer out of the site while we set up.

It is tight but doable. I had my 35 foot Dolphin with a Tracker there in 2003. We were there earlier this summer. We stayed at Ridgway State Park and drove up from there for a day. Like has been suggested it is small as far as time spent there to take it all in.

We have driven by but not in the campground. You can see Black Canyon in less than a day, I would stay in Montrose Co and you can do day trips to Ouray and Teluride also.

Disreguard we were on the north rim by Montrose.
