We are making reservations for mid-June. I know...the weather will be a bit cold, but that is vacation time this summer.

I was there in 2003 and cannot remember which CG I stayed in. I'm almost 100% sure it was paved sites. I'm looking for CG suggestions (Rivermouth v. Lower Falls) and specific sites to stay in.

Thanks for your help.

We stayed at lower falls a few year ago, was a good choice. Walking trail along falls is great....

We also stayed in the River section this past October. Didn't check out the Falls part, so I can't comment on that. River section was nice, full but nice, but there again that was October.

We liked the River section the best. June is typically mosquito time. If you can switch it, the end of July or August would be better if you need to go in the summer.

We stayed there a half a dozen times over the years including last June as well, weather was very nice and not cold at all. Very nice park. We always stayed at the falls section and preferred the outside edge along the creek and some of them are very deep. How ever I believe the only paved site are the handicap sites in which my 80+ in laws used last year. Go to the Michigan DNR website and you can view pictures of the sites.
