Any recommendations for RV camping site on the Guadalupe River? My kids have three school days off at the beginning of February for the county fair and we would like to take the trailer out for an early shakedown trip before spring break. The boys want to go fishing and the Guadalupe is stocked with rainbow trout in winter.

Between the terrible floods and the terrible reviews I've read of several parks, I really don't know where a good place to go would be. Doesn't need fancy amenities, but good river access is a must.

If it makes a difference I have a 27 ft TT and could go with just water/electric if FHU were not available.

Thanks for the advice. We stayed and Huaco Springs and had a very nice long weekend. Sites were freshly filled with tamped crushed granite and very level. Great views and easy access to the river. Would definitely stay here again. I'm sure it gets crazy in the summer, but it was very peaceful and relaxing in the winter.

We like Huaco Springs. Sites 1-9 are river front with easy river access.
