Toll Bridge going to Henderson State Park

we are leaving in the morning to Henderson SP. I see the best route from Ga is 27 to Montgomery down 65 to Adalusia Al, well its saying a Toll bridge at Mid-Bay bridge. I'm hearing crowded. is it best to pay the toll or go around?

You can also go down highway 87 to highway 98 and take a left. Follow 98 until you get to Henderson beach. We go this way all the time nice 4 lane road

here is the way we go, we make this trip a lot. From Montgomery 65 south to Georgiana 106 east to 55/us31 south to andalusia exit Andalusia on US 29 to US 137. US 137 becomes Florida 189 at the Fl state Line 189 becomes Florida 4 south at baker, In Milligan take US 90 east to Antioch Road. Antioch becomes PJ Adams and comes out on FL 85. Go south to the new Niceville bypass ( photo toll road)and it will take you to the toll bridge.

I know this sounds crazy but it's a really easy drive with way less traffic.

Sometimes it is backed up at the toll booth all the way to 20,prior to going on the bridge across to Destin. If the toll area doesn't seem backed up it will be ok to cross there.

Go around we make that trip each winter it escapes me now the route but we pay no tolls. Good road all the way to Destin. Rt 331
