Our grandson is playing baseball at the end of March in St George. Everyone is staying at the Temple View campground. We are looking for a stop off point between Boise and St George. Something easy access for a 35' 5th wheel. Ogden looks to be about half way. Any suggestions. Thanks T

If you can break away from the games at all, be sure to visit Snow Canyon State Park while you are here.

One of my favorite dinner spots downtown is Cappelettis. The Twisted Noodle around the corner is pretty new, more casual, and we were happy with the quality the time we've tried it. Cliffside Restaurant has an awesome view but our service last fall was way off (I heard they've changed management since then).

How about the Hawaiian food at Honolulu Grill? ๐Ÿ™‚ I like that place.

The Honolulu Grill at Bluff and St George Blvd moved out and stripped their space bare in the process. I haven't tried the location on 700 South yet.

Willard Bay is very nice, we stay there spring and fall. In Provo you can use Utah Lake State Park. Also use it in the spring and fall. It's about 1-1 1/2 hours south of Willard bay. At the end of this month you should not have a problem getting a site at either one of them.

On our last trip through Utah we stayed at Lakeside RV Park near Provo. That may be too far south, but I just mention it because we used it for an overnight and found it acceptable.

Century Park

We have overnighted here...the RV sites are out front with some pull thru sites. The mobile home park is in the back. The place is very clean and great for overnight. Don't listen to your GPS and use the park directions or call them. There are also gas stations on the same exit.

i have stayed at Willard Bay State Park. Nice enough, but quite noisy. However, Willard Bay has a south campground. I stayed there last spring and it was quiet. The mosquitoes were bad, though. Even so I would stay there again.

Nothing really in Ogden that I'm aware of. Brigham City/Perry has a KOA and another private CG, both of which you could fit into. Not super CGs but decent enough - at least the KOA is, from our experience (haven't been to the other). There's a state park near there too (Willard Bay) which has sites with hookups - looks like some bigger rigs get in there. It's RIGHT NEXT to the interstate though so could be noisy. We've been to the SLC KOA and it's fine, not terribly hard to get to/from, though not quite as easy-off/on as the ones in Brigham. Others have suggested the Pony Express RV Park; we haven't been, but for an overnight stop it's pretty well located.
