Where to stay in the Las Vegas area?

I have now recovered from heart surgery to the point that I am ready to make a short trip to test things out. We have purchased an older RV and need to make a few short trips to make sure everything is correct for some longer trips this year we have planned.
I thought I might zip up the road and see the Mustang Museum at LV and some other sites for a few days.
At least it's warmer there than at home at elevation here in AZ.
So where should I stay? The RV is 31' and I tow a car on a 16' flatbed. It's nicer if I don't have to disconnect the car while parked of course but that means a 50' space.

The Circus Circus RV park is alive and well and run by the hotel since KOA left. The park was closed briefly 2 years ago to develop an outdoor entertainment area on about 2/3 of what was the RV park. The area nearest the hotel is still in operation. Most are pull thru but vary in length. Call the hotel directly and ask for the park. I have stayed there a few times since the changeover.

We stayed at Las Vegas Resort when we visited Las Vegas and would recommend it as well.

Closed. The KOA franchise now manages Sam's Town.

Stayed at the Hitchin' Post twice, on one trip to Bryce and Zion. Nice and clean, facilities good. Only drawback was flyovers from the AF base, which doesn't bother me.

I think they have closed the park at Circus Circus. We usually stay at Las Vegas RV resort off Boulder Highway. We stayed at Sam's Town until they let KOA take it over. It's not worth what they are charging now. We've stayed at Oasis and is nice but really price, not close to anything and under the flight path of the airport.

Oasis RV Resort is very nice and very pricey. KOA at Sam's Town is not bad.

Main Street Station....I concur! This time of year you should be able to get a pull through. The CG is NOT a Resort but walking distance to everything downtown.
