Thanks for all the replies. We’re looking at the last two weeks in April for being in the area. Mesa will be the last week. The kids will be using the company vacation house which is 3 miles NE of the Mesa Gateway Airport.
Thanks all.

Then Lost Dutchman State Park or Usery Maricopa County Park would be convenient. The end of April isn't a busy time for either. Remember, folks have to get home to do their taxes. 🙂

Mesa's a big area... exactly where do you want to be? Usery Maricopa County Park is very nice as is Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction (not exactly Mesa but at the far eastern side of Mesa).

Another idea for Prescott is Orchard Ranch RV in nearby Dewey.

I love Lost Dutchman SP, but unless you already have reservations, chances for next week as slim. According to the entrance station volunteer, the next month is their busiest time. I was just there and even the dry, overflow area was full. I managed to get one night in one of the "emergency" sites since I arrived a little after 1:00, but got tossed the next day.

Still, one of the prettiest Arizona state parks.

We've been to Prescott several times. Most of the RV parks are small, crowded and not really suitable if you have a larger rig. We stay at the Fairgrounds where there's lots of room.
