X3. And spend some time here too, not just at the Dells. Devil's Lake is a beautiful place. Lots of good trails, nice lake, good fall colors.

If you don't mind being a little further away from the Dells, Sky High Resort in Portage is a Passport America park. Nice park with great views overlooking the valley.

I will add Devilโ€™s Lake State Park to the list. It is farther way but just off of Rt. 12. Rt. 12 is now a four lane divided highway going into the Dells.

Devilโ€™s Lake SP is maybe four or five minutes south of Mirror Lake SP.

Rocky Arbor is beautiful but it is RIGHT ON the interstate, and can be pretty noisy. Maybe not so bad if you're lucky enough to get a campsite at the end away from the road.

Wis. Dells has all the hookups you'd need, perhaps not a woodsy atmosphere but if you have kids along, it will have some activities & clean facilities. Ask for a site in the upper area of the campground; the lower area is by a train track (which is used). (Disclaimer: KOA owners are friends of mine - but we have stayed there several times. They're a nice couple and work hard to keep the CG nice.)

Our favorite in the area is Mirror Lake. Not all sites have hookups. The state parks are VERY hard to get into; Wisconsin takes reservations 11 months in advance, and especially at the Dells, or on weekends anywhere, those sites book up fast.

What type of hookups do you need? Mirror Lake SP has some electric sites. Country Roads RV park is a 55 and over park with full hookups. Jellystone is mostly families with full hookups. Rocky Arbor State Park has no hookups. Dell-Boo is about 4 miles south of the Dells and has full hookups. Red Oaks Campground just outside the Dells is mostly seasonal campers and it is a serious "party place" I would avoid them. Fairfield Hills RV/Campground is 5 miles south and very quiet. Baraboo Hills is nice but a lot of kids.
I am a local here so if you have questions, you can send me a PM.

When we were there a few years ago we stayed at the KOA-Wisconsin Dells. Considering we just needed a space to park the trailer for a bedroom only and were gone all day exploring the area, it was great. Located very nice to the hub of activity.

We also stayed at Rocky Arbor State Park on the same trip. We stayed 3 nights at one and 3 nights at the other. Enjoyed both locations.

Our campsite at Rocky Arbor. Sorry, no photos of the KOA. I suppose I wasn't that impressed with it, actually I don't think we saw the campground during daylight at all we were so busy.

Check out Holiday Shores Campground.

It's North of Dells hustle and bustle yet close by.

Nothing really close other than Mirroe Lake State Park and the Jellystone.

My vote is for Stand Rock Campground. It is on the north side of downtown dells, but Iโ€™m 15 minutes youโ€™ll be at the Wilderness.

While you are waiting I'd search in the RV Parks section for `Wisconsin Dells'.
