We have a 19ft toy hauler and planning to take it up to Zion this summer I'm looking to book everything now if it's possible. What area should I look into and how long should we stay? Also what's next after Zion - Arches ? Trying to map a route out From Ca. Thinking of being on the road about a month. Thanks everyone, we had a successful trip to Texas with all the knowledge on the forum.

If you are less that 50' in length, drive thru the tunnel and visit Bryce on the way to Arches.

Way under 50' toy hauler is 24' overall plus a crew cab truck.

Yep, Watchman's the place to be. If you want something a little more upscale there is the Zion River Rv park jn Virgin.

The watchman campground inside of Zion is hard to beat. For $18 a night you get 30 amp electric, water spigots throughout the CG, flush toilets and a decent two lane dump station. All of this is just a few hundred yards from the visitor center and tram station. Most of the year you cannot drive throughout the park but taking the free shuttles are far better anyway.

Reservations are a must most of the year but can be easily made on line. Some of the sites are right on the Virgin River but they go quickly.

We found Bryce Canyon was a great day trip from Zion but Zion is where you will want to spend most of your time.
