Why are posts that don't fit the category not moved to the category they fit in?

I think the big problem here is that people posting the first time evidently can only post under "Community Feed-back". On the old RV.Net we set up our replies to different forums to automatically subscribe to that forum. Tis forum is ass-backwards. You need to subscribe to the forum before replying. "Newbie's" here would not know that. Just one mo coding problem needing to be fixed.

We could click the upper right corner menu and choose "Inappropriate Content" for any reply here. That would go to the mod. covering this Community Feedback forum. He may reply then.

I have been reporting advertising posts and miss placed posts for about a month that way. I saw the first one moved a few days ago.

That means the Mod. is still here, but he is not seeing our post here, or maybe ignoring them.

No Mods have replied here yet to our replies. I wonder if they even see them.
There is no location working to see "All" new replies.

I think I am taking a break from this forum for a while. I don't think there is enough legacy institutional knowledge left on here to really help with a lot of the problems and 90% of the posts are responses to topics that are decades old. We've raised some suggestions, and it doesn't seem like anything is changing.

I think all the mods have quit. Still posts being put where they don't belong and not being moved.

I was wondering that yesterday also. I know I am getting fustreated coming on before work and seeing anywhere from 1 to 3 new post in the 10 catagories I check, and 3/4 of them are rwplys to 13 year old posts or new topics in the comunity forum that should be else where. I am thinking of only checking once a week so it is worth my time even clicking on all the groups I follow.....

We have a problem here that is a big coding problem. I received an e-mail of your reply, but the post never showed under recent posts/replies. I finally located it here under category you replied in.
It's hard to say if they quit. It can look that way. I hope they are busy working on coding problems

the mods are probably to busy putting out other fires haha, the main reason in my opinion is the new group names are misleading and lead to several overlaps causing people not to know where to put them. in other cases people just don't care...
