6 Volt battery wiring.

Can't seem to find the diagram I had seen here previously. I'm changing from 2-12 volt parallel to 2- 6 volt series batteries. I've found diagrams to show connecting the two batteries together + to -, but am not certain on inputs and outputs for generator, solar panels and battery monitor. All negatives attach to battery one and all positives to battery two, correct? Thanks.

Yes and most RVs have Black as positive and White for negative.
Similar to the 120v wiring.

Just don't get confused by old-biscuit's color coding on his positive and negative cables. Normally the negative is black and the positive is red.

Yes. Nothing connects to the middle jumper connection between the two batteries.

You have the theory correct all inputs and outputs will connect to the outboard terminals of the two batteries. Nothing is connected to the inner, series cable link.
