Flexible 50AMP extension cords

Looking for a flexible 30 foot 50AMP RV extension cord. Anyone tried the TRC (Technology Research Corp.) RV Flex 50A cord? Cost a little more than the Camco cord but would be worth it if it is indeed more flexable and easier to handle, especially in colder weather.
Any suggestions?

made my own too - i used an SO/SOW Jacketed cord (6/3 - 8/1 (gauge/conductor count))....you can buy cheaper (30 foot), but i wanted a continuous run of 70 foot for use in my storage bay & at when on the curb at my in-laws.

that won't work for 50A....for a PROPER 50A.

you need 4 conductors...that link shows 3 conductors of 6 gauge.

what you want (at a minimum) is 4 conductors...usually 6/3 & 8/1 (gauge/number of wires).

Home Depot, or electrical wholesaler, ask for "Cabtire". flexible rubber sheath and stick your own ends on, which you can also get at the wholesaler. Comes in many conductor and gauge configurations.

Hi,

Talk to your local electrician. They can sell you all weather cord. Buy some ends from Amazon.

Look for a rubber shielded cord instead of a PVC shielded.
