Previously we changed our fresh water tank drain in our COACHMAN 191 RB from a drain plug to a hose going to a remote 1/4 turn valve.
Unscrewing the drain plug from underneath was bad enough with the initial gush of water unfailingly getting me wet (usually in the fall when it is cold) but crawling back under the camper in the wet or mud was terrible-so we added the remote drain.
When originally posted here it was suggested we combine the suction (feed) line with the drain, so that was today's project.
The gray fitting at the bottom is the drain,the white on the side is the suction/supply line.
As simple "T" fitting was added and the old fresh supply line from the tank plugged.
Amazingly a measured 5 gallons of usable water was gained!
The camper was on on a very slight slant needing about an inch under the side to be level,so I'll call it 4 gallons- with a 36 gallon tank that's considerable gain for boondocking or just less needed to carry for travel toilet flushing.
