Need "scuff tracks" for my TV roof rack

Since I don't know what to call them, I'm having trouble searching the Web for them. Here's my dilemma: I have a Land Cruiser with an OEM roof rack, but there aren't any "scuff tracks" to protect the roof paint if I throw a tire or gas cans up there. I think I'm looking for some kind of peel-and-stick strips to apply to the roof, kind of like bump strips you might apply to your doors to protect against parking lot rash. Does anyone know of a source for such an item, or what to call them?

I've seen body side molding used.
