I bought our first Travel Trailer with Power tongue jack and power stabilizers. The buttons are all on the outside of the trailer. My question is.. how do i turn off the power to them so when it is in my driveway and i am not at home someone can't walk by and lower them or mess with them? they are always on?

Ahhhhh, typical understanding, non condescending answers. Gotta love this place.

Guess I'll put in my two cents worth instead of just trolling..

I would pull the fuses and if not fused would install some type of hidden disconnect. Shouldn't be too hard..

The stabilizers and tongue jack are probably wired independent of the rest of the RV. There should also be a wire from the (+) phase terminal on the battery for the emergency break away system. You should be able to remove two wires from the battery to disable the stabilizers and the tongue jack.

I will look for the fuses - I think the A frame Jack is direct to the battery. It is a Brand New Wildwood. I do worry as we have had kids going through the neighbourhood at night looking for trouble. LOL

You might be worrying about nothing...but, they are probably fused. You could pull the fuse to that system.
