radio replacement in 2003 Itasca Sunova/Sightseer

Planning in replacing the Magnadyne 9900 radio in my MH. Problem is the current unit is a 1.5 DIN and wanting a 2 DIN unit. Looking for recommendations from someone that has done it, specifically on where new brackets/sleeve were obtained.

I did that exact thing. Bought a Pioneer head unit and their generic double DIN install kit (ADT-VA133). There was some cutting and fabricating involved but it came out nice.

Talk to Crutchfield. They are probably the foremost authority on automotive stereos.

If this is a class C, then all you need to do is buy a double din face for your body. If its a class A, then you would have to rebuild the dash to accomodate the double din.
