Using “wiggle wood” for roof on travel trailer?

Was wondering if anyone has tried using the flexible plywood for roof underlayment?
Weighs in at 63lbs for 1/8”x4’x8’. If so how did it turn out and which way did you lay across or lengthwise?

Well i think I’m stuck with what i have the 1/8” wiggle wood, now i will probably add another layer perpendicular, think ill go with 3/8” acx. The wight i put earlier was definitely incorrect it only weighs 20-30 lbs tops sorry lol, the advantage of using the wiggle wood is the curve of the roof can be covered without warping and b4 asked ill put 3/8’ acx first, wiggle wood covering.

On extra question this trailer is a gift from sis I don’t plan on having longer than 2 years than i will upgrade. What type of “coating” should i use? And should i bother with building curbs for A/C and vents?

First off i would never use 1/8" wood of any kind on the roof. you'll never be able to walk on it. I would use a minimum of 3/8" and might even consider 1/2".

Personally, I would just use 3/8's ACX. That seems to be how my TT is built.

So i should install sheet of 1/8” acx on top of or just get 3/8” acx?

Some 1/2 inch plywood can weigh that much but not 1/8 inch.

That thickness has very little structural support and it's always recommended to double up and run the second sheet perpendicular to each other. Or use Wacky Wood 3/8 with a 1/8 topper.

(Double check your weights as neither WackyWood or the bending birch plywood's weight that much per 4 X 8 sheet.)
