We most likely have one of the last blue interior units made, and now that only earth tones seem to be available (not our taste) we're planning on keeping this one at least until the kids graduate and move on. To that end we want to redo the inside to closer resemble a "beach cottage" theme, which I'll start once other projects start to wrap up around the house.
A lot of the fake wood is crumbling (especially near the slide and under the cabinets; no surprise) and some on the e-center is damaged. I'll repair that and paint it bright white. Beadboard is next; I hate the trailer park wall finishes. The bath will get a similar makeover. Beadboard is also going on the ceiling. Flooring will be either wood look vinyl sheet or laminate. The garage floor is getting sprayed with bedliner, and getting the same treatment as the rest of the interior. Pulling out the tiny fridge for a residential unit in the garage, along with bunk beds for the kids.
Not looking to spend a huge sum, so Habitat and other sources will be
ultilized.
Not sure about exterior yet.
