I am moving to a new truck/fiver combo. The truck is a 3500 Megacab 6'4" with a B&W Companion (possible slider), and a Grand Designs Solistice 369RL. There has been a lot of discussion with the dealer and with the MFG concerning this combo and the need for a slider. Does anyone have experience with the 3500 and the Grand Design trailers? I have a b&w companion on a 2010 dodge 3500 4x4 with a 8ft bed. I have pulled a 28ft savoy 5th and currently pull a 285rld montana mountaineer. Have not had a lick of problems.
