5Th wheel bedroom slide leaking

The bedroom slide on my keystone Montana is leaking at the bottom of slide out. The carpet is wet on floor by the head of the bed in that little cubby hole next to the bed and also it is wet on bedroom floor next to bed. Was wondering if it could be the seals at bottom of slide. Anyone else had the same problem. Open to suggestions. The slide out only leeks when the slide out is out not leaking when slide is in.

The first leak that I found in my Outback was in the very front where two small closets were. They were both kinda under the nose cap. DW and I were in Yellowstone for the summer and I didn't get a chance to work on it until we got home in September. What I found was the leak was coming in where the nose cap met the roof. I cleaned up the caulk, added some new caulk, and covered the seam with Eternabond. Now, 5 years later, it has never leaked again.

My friend had a similar leak in his Montana. We found that a staple had partially torn a seal on the bottom of the slide... As a temporary fix we caulked it and the leak stopped.

Thanks and good luck!
