Any Sandpiper owners out there?

We recently started the search for our first 5th wheel. One that has my wife's interest is a 2019 Forest River Sandpiper 382VIEW.

I have a few concerns about the quality and am interested in hearing from Sandpiper owners on how satisfied they are with their rigs. I am a little concerned that we might be moving down a level going from our 2011 Palomino Sabre TT to the Sandpiper. The wood trim does not seem as solid and it seems most higher mid-level and above 5th wheelers have a central VAC which the sandpiper does not. I could easily overlook this if current owners have not had problems with their units.

On edit I should mention we are also looking at a 2017 Jayco - Pinnacle
Floorplan: 36FBTS

The Jayco seems much better built to me.

Purchased a 3220RL this spring and use it at a seasonal In Alberta Canada so don't pull it around. So far so good, been a wet summer with some serious heavy rains so very wet tested LOL. No issues and the midbunk and loft have been great for the two teen kids. Came from a Durango and quality seemed slightly better on this one but overall I think similar. The durango was a 2003 and also had no issues over the entire 17 years other then tires. My buddy purchased a new Jayco travel trailer and its been in the shop more then at the lake....they had to actually give him a loaner its been such a mess.

So so far we really have enjoyed the new Sandpiper.

If your looking for "top dog" line, the Sandpiper isn't FR's top dog. Think it's few notches down. Jayco's Pinnacle I believe is their top line model.

Between the two I think the Pinnacle would be the better choice as far as the quality level goes.
