Dometic power Channel Awning Accessories??

Took delivery of the new Montana High Country last Tuesday. Been camping at a Kentucky State Park for the past 3 days. Learning all the systems in this new trailer.

Trailer came with a Dometic 9100 PowerChannel Awning LED Spotlight Accessory. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to attach it. Looking at the YouTube videos (the few I can find), shows the awning roller with a wide slot. Mine does not have that.

And the Dometic web site is no help, and the device came with no instructions. I'm completely stumped on this one.

Anyone have any ideas how to attach the spotlight?

Thanks to the folks above. I FINALLY figured it out! Well, it's not like the web site or the information pages describe at all. My awning does not have that wide track, but I found it fit here, and actually found the light switch inside the camper that turns it on. Sheesh! What a mystery:

This looks like the add on track that can be placed anywhere. Too bad the awning roller itself it's the one shown on Dometic's web site though!

Thanks for your help everyone!

Does this Page help? Looks like you can put it anywhere in the channel and twist it 90 degrees?

Mine came with the Dometic 9100, and has the large slots. I don't think you could attach a spot light in the slots, with the idea of rolling it up, while light is still attached. My best guess is to attach at roller end, but I've no idea what the light looks like.

Anyway, it is always fun to get a new RV, and figure out where to put everything. Glad you are enjoying it. Someone will come along that knows. ๐Ÿ™‚
