Looking again at fifth wheels any opinions on the following: Open range roamer Keystone Cougar 338pat Keystone Moutaineer 291rlf Grand design reflections 337rls
We really like our Grand Design, I would recommend that company to anyone. If the site mentioned is the Grand Design owners forum, it does not belong to Grand Design. The owners of Grand Design do monitor it and answer questions, no hiding behind site moderators.
We traded in our Hitchhiker on a Reflection and I miss our Hitchhiker very much. Here's why. HH had more inside storage, much bigger closet, large pull out pantry drawers, bed very hard to make in Reflection. The Reflection has many nice features though. Also. For some reason every time we stop and open the frig or freezer, stuff wants to come flying out. Never had that problem with the HH. Good luck with your choice and safe travels. And Reflection charges you to be on their Forum. Not HH. Betsy
Can't go wrong with any of the Grand Design models. My first two 5th wheels were Cougars and now we have a Grand Design Solitude. I felt like the cougars were more of an entry level 5er.
Bedroom Slide, living room slide, and auto leveling. I think most of these have very similar floor plans and like them all. I do like the Cougar 338 nice patio version. Longer than what we were thinking. The Mountaineer length is good... Roamer like - not sure I like where the TV is at seems like a distance from sitting area. Reflection - length and layout
Price point? I suppose all of the floor plans meet your needs/wants? Personally i am not a fan of Thor products, but someone likes them. There are lots of decebt brands on the market, so it all boils down to dealer support if your buying new. But after the warranty expires it is more of a concern about factory support for parts etc.
