Hi everyone,
So hubby and I have narrowed our 5W search to Northpoint 375 BHFS, NP 377 RLBH, Eagle 325 BHQS, Eagle 345 BHTS, and the OR Roamer 376 FBH

With the eagles we prefer the party couch option as we usually will be eating outside and this gives us more couch for our family when we are in the living area (I wish NP had this option). We really wanted a built in gen and Eagle doesn't offer even a prep, so thats the downside on those, the Roamer offers the prep but not the generator itself. Overall hubby likes NP 377 best, but I worry about sharing a bathroom with 3 kids. I am kind of leaning towards the roamer, but am not sold. I really feel we are going to be cramped in the living area which is where we will spend most of our time in the camper. There are things we really like about all the floor plans but none of them is exactly what we want (I know I know nothings perfect)

So my quesion for owners of NP 375, I am worried about being able to see the tv from the recliners. It seems as though you may be obstructed with the faucet. We don't have one nearby so I cant go sit in it to see. Thanks for any thoughts or opinions.

I just learned that OR is owned by Jayco. It comes with the two year warranty and I like the roof system better then rubber. I think they also come with the Arm support system if I remember correctly. I'm a Jayco fan with mine being 10 years old and it's still in great shape. You have a good group of rigs to choose from for you and your family. Good luck on your choice.

There are plenty of 377 owners there who love to talk about and answer questions about their rigs

Another personal observation... Op commented that they would be using their FW on some empty property and was concerned about bathrooms. They could set up a "permanent" site and have an outhouse to help reduce some conflicts. Just a suggestion... ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyone have the answer to my NP 377 question?

I find the statement about sharing the bath room a little strange. Are these not your kids? Your family I don't see the problem. Maybe you could send the kids to the shower house?
Good luck on your search.

:B I didn't mean with me, I meant with each other. They are small kids and when they have to go, they have to go. There are many times in a day that I have 2 kids in 2 different bathrooms. I really like the 377 too, I am just not sold on it, I don't think the table is big enough for us to use (when we would need to).

Which ones are the slides independent?
The NP 377 is a midbunk, thats hubbies favorite. I worry about sharing a bathroom, but love the layout. I have looked at the Columbus and I like it a lot too. I just can't find any to look at around here. I can't even find a dealer ๐Ÿ˜ž

Thanks. I should probably say, we will be using it to short term live in from time to time. When we visit our family from a few days to a few weeks at a time, we will stay on my families empty property (thus the want for a built in geny). So sometimes it is not used for camping but living, also we move every couple of years (military), so we want something to live in while PCSing.

Bringing up the slides, new question for any Jayco eagle or NP owners and OR owners. Do slides all come out together or can you open separately? Thanks.:@

Were =I= buying, I'd lean towards the Eagle 345. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of islands. Yes, you get more counter space, but you usually give up access to the fridge with the slides in for it. Not sure why they placed the secondary, smaller pantry on the far side of the entertainment center as that means you'll be walking in front of the TV to get anything out of it. Had they swapped them, the TV view would slightly be cut off, but that =shouldn't= be that important when "camping". ๐Ÿ™‚ The outside kitchen is nice and would likely get more use than you might think, if only to keep heat out of the inside. Just my $0.02...
