Got bad news today

Been feeling down lately, sluggish.. Took a trip to see my Dr. today and the news was not good...

Turns out I got a disease called..
Miss My Fiver Itus .

Went to the RV show this weekend, all the talking about campers, and all the talking to the campgrounds made it worse...

It has been 5 months since my last trip, with another month to go.

Was all planned to head over to our local state park this Sunday for a week to open up and de-winterize our 5th wheel as the temps were to be high enough even at night. Now they are calling for lows in the 20's at night and even snow on Friday & Sunday but it's only Tuesday now so the forecast will probably change 10 times by then, wish me luck

Which park?

I have been retired about a year and a 1\2 and love it. I am not sure how to feel about having our camper here at home. I can always go sit in it pack a lunch thing, but there is also the out of sight out of mind if it were at a storage lot. WE have about a month before our first trip.

Yeah, winter just will not go away here in the pacific north west. It's gonna be a while before I can get the truck anywhere near the trailer.

I hear you my friend. I'm suffering from the same thing! :B

The worst part is normally things are warming up nicely here at this time of year but the winter from he!! won't leave this year. We have another snowfall warning for tonight... :M

Thankfully we decided to store the fiver indoors this year so at least it's clean and dry in there.

Sorry to hear that. I have this disorder called bigboat itus. Yes it's tough living with this. Had to go from 37 foot Boat to 60 foot boat. I do have to take medication though, every day at 5PM. Lucky me the Wife stopped me at 34' for our Toy Hauler. Doctor says no cure.

Beautiful picture..doesn't make me feel any better though... 🙂

Please forgive us for our advantage--of course, we will be suffering in July and August.

In fact, the azaleas are blooming so early that the folks on the Azalea Trail in Tyler are worried that the bloom will already be over before the announced dates of the Trail.

We've already made a trip to the Valley (in February) and will probably go down to the Hill Country of Texas in April. The problem there is the bluebonnets may be so early that we may miss the best part of the season.

Just took this photo today in our back yard:

OK...this post reminds me of a story....

The doctor calls his patient and says "I've got bad news and worse news"
Patient says "Okay, tell me"
Doctor says "Test results came back and you have a very rare and dangerous disease. You only have 24 hours to live".
Patient nearly passes out but says "what possibly could be the worse news?"
Doctor says "I forgot to call you yesterday"
