Hairline crack on tail end cap fix?

Hey guys I have a 2020 attitude 3218mm..it has a I thi k a fiberglass end cap on rear top end of the hauler. Well I just noticed an 8 inch hairline crack on the top portion of it.. Should I just leave it or what's the best way to fix it?

The only way to fix it is to V out the crack feather sand all around it with corse sand paper, apply fiberglass and resin feather and blend it all back in. Basically like body work but with fiberglass. Fill it in with a skin coat of putty sand prime and paint.

Let's just say it's our of warranty... Whats the best way to fix it.

You may want to drill a 1/8" at the very end of the crack to stop the progress of the crack. That distributes the stress in all directions. If it works on steel bridge beams it works on RVs as well. I've seen many others that have done this as well.

Take it back to the RV dealer you purchased it from and have them examine and DOCUMENT the crack. It could be a structural defect in the underlying framing that causing the crack. If it is structural, the $$$$ repair should be covered under your warranty.
