Hey guys. I'm new to the forums! Just purchased a 2006 weekend warrior 3305 LE billet edition. I'm super excited about it. It was a repo and will need some serious TLC for me to bring it back to life. I will have a lot of questions for all of you guys during this restoration. First one. This thing has been sitting for at least 2 years. I want to attempt to start the generator tomorrow when I get two new batteries. How should I go about doing it with it sitting this long? Try to drain the fuel? I have two fuel fill up spots on the outside for gas... What are they both for?

First camping trip in the books! Everything worked great! Still waiting on my awning. We were able to bring an extra car.

Pretty much but if in doubt take a photo of the back of it, so you know how it was wired and take it in to Lowes to buy a new one. Is it the last leg in the line or in the middle or the 1st? I'd also check the wiring on any other outlets on the line too.

You might pull a few plugs nearby see if the wiring is running to them has come loose. In the race for speed they use the backstab connectors, I've had issues with those in my rig. I went through and changed each of them to use the side wire instead. Have you replaced the plug itself? Are the lines hot?

today i will pull the plug and check behind it for power with a volt meter. the lines do not get hot. this gfi outlet controls my fridge, outside outlet, and most the inside ones... i assume i can pick up any gfi outlet at lowes to replace it?

We had a similar job done last year on our SLC3505. The dealer used a matching color of panel board on the ceiling - just needed one sheet from the seam to go from the A/C to the cabinets. We also had the roof completely replaced. We had the front ladder taken off and the holes sealed. The ladder is in the toy hauler and could be reinstalled by the next owner if they wanted to put it back on. We had to replace wood on the front because the side wall pulled out of the front edge molding. The wall only had about 1/8" under the molding and during a wind storm it flexed enough to pull out. Since we were doing major repair work done, we decided to fix some issues that we had seen from the factory. We didn't have inside water damage, but water was able to get in from the side and damaged the insulation required that the front and roof has to be pulled back to replace. Since we were doing some roof work, we had the skylight replaced with lexan. The original plastic skylight was cracked from the screws that were drilled through it when it was originally installed. Over time, the cracks continued to grow and the sealant being used was constantly increasing in size. As a result, we decided to replace it with one that will never crack or become sun damaged. Rather than patch 1/3 of the roof, we decided to completely replace it from front to back and fix the issue with the caps at the front and back so that they are under the roofing material instead of on top creating water puddles and potential water dams. The front cap was rebuilt using new material at the same time.

Excellent job! I have a fs3000 TAG the futon idea has me thinking about replacing the uncomfy couch that only my dogs like.

It's a leather memory foam futon from Walmart. It was $140 I think.

Good work, and fast too.You got skillz.

Your inside looks a lot like mine, the living area/kitchen is almost identical. Except 2007> got that combination convection/microwave, you've got both a micro and oven. I still haven't figured out how to cook in that thing. Its mounted so low, you have to get on the floor to read the very complicated controls i still can''t figure out...

That futon fits in perfect, how does it fold up out of the way..?

Right now the futon does not fold up out of the way. Im still thinking about adding a hinge or something to fold up out of the way. Or could just move it into the hall way every time I need to pull something in.
Now that's it's almost finished its time to buy a rzr and head out west!

Just curious, what's your day job? You can't just be a CPA who happens to be good with his hands.

I'm in my last year at Clemson for Engineering but i own a boat dealership. I have been flipping boats, cars, diesel trucks, since I was old enough to drive them. Bought this WW originally to flip because I got it so cheap. Never had a camper before but now that I have so much work into it I can't sell it!
