Is there a reason to leave your fifth wheel plugged in when you're not using it?

Same here except I don't have a 30 amp plug where I store it.

Mines plugged in 24/7/365 unless I forget for a day after returning home from a trip. Never had any battery issues.

Ours is left plugged in all summer long. Keeps the batteries up and the fridge cold. It's always ready for a last minute change of plans to get out of town. I sometimes go out there to watch tv or tinker with something.

So your batteries don’t run all the way down.

As noted, it keeps the batteries charged. For us, we have solar and when it's sunny on a regular basis, we unplug it.

Not sure there is a "technical" reason to do so. We leave our Alpenlite plugged in year round. It is stored at home. I like to go out and tinker with things and it is much more convenient to have power. It also helps keep the batteries charged. I do shut off the refer if the rig sits more than a few weeks. I have also been known to run a small electric heater during the very cold spells we can have just to make me feel better.
