For a one night stop can you leave your 5th connected and all legs up? Just disconnect the power cable to the truck and call it a night?

Thanks,
Jim

Yup, guy next to me stayed hooked up, legs down, tried to drive off in morning. No go, now legs won't go up! He used big hammer to straighten legs so they would go up. Not ideal IMO!

Myself, I'd just level off, put legs down, deploy the slides, no worries. It's the FW advantage, so easy to connect/disconnect, even for just staying the night.

Yep, as long as you're pretty close to level it's no issue. I've done it many times for an overnight. I've also done it the last night if I need to make a quick departure in the morning for a long travel day. There will be some more movement but you'll mostly be sleeping so no big deal.

I always unhitch and level up before I deploy the slides.

Depends on where we stopped, if at a truck stop try to get an end spot so we put out the bedroom slide. but leave everything else hooked up to the truck. Like scotthas mentioned, make sure your fridge is somewhat level. if you have it going. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!

I put mine down front and rear since I run the slide out. Only takes 5 mins.

Go for it. I would make sure your level for the fridge if you have an rv fridge.

I've done it both ways, mostly depends on how level the site is, and how much movement in the trailer bothers you.
