Looking Washer Dryer Recommendations

We just bought a 2017 Forest River Sandpiper 377FLIK.
It has a washer/dryer prep in the bedroom which is located in the back of the camper. We had a Splendide 2100XC in our last one, it was ok but did take forever to run the full cycle.
I'm wondering if there is a better option out there

Thanks

Since everyone is saying the 2100XC by Splendide, then let me offer a counter-suggestion. There's the Pinnacle "Super Combo" Washer/Dryer combo units that come in vented and non-vented. Vented is always going to be better since the moisture takes longer to dissipate in a non-vented application. The price is about the same, if not a little more. Or, there's always the Dometic option for a washer/dryer combo unit but they only come in a ventless application. If you are considering a ventless unit, Countoure makes a nice combo unit with a bigger built-in hot water heater. Also they have dual fans on the inside for faster drying. Hope this helps!

If there is just one plug, vs one outlet plate with two plugs, then yes, a second circuit would need to be run to have stackables.

I only have 1 receptacle in the closet, can I do a stackable set with only one receptacle or would I need to add another one on its own circuit?

thanks again

I think ours is a Pinnacle, vented. It shakes pretty good and I put rubber vibration isolators under the feet (Amazon? maybe). Helped a little. The wife uses it for just under wear and shirts. Took a while to figure out how to use the dry cycle. We bought some of those dryer balls that have pointed knobs, helped with wrinkles.

Whirlpool stackable. Dryer is vented to the outside, runs on 120V. Works great! Came as factory option in my Cardinal. For me, the separate units allow for more efficiency, doing a wash and dry at the same time.

Even though the dryer is 120V, since the loads are all smaller than when done at home, everything seems to finish in about the same amount of time. My wife loves having them in the Cardinal when we are on our extended trips on full H/U.

I agree on the Splendide 2100XC which is vented. Who cares how long it takes, I'm retired.

The slow part is the drying cycle. You only have 120v vs 220v for a home unit. There is only so much heat available when are limited to 120v. Brand of dryer or stacked still takes longer to dry. Of course if stacked you can have a wet load ready to dry when the dryer is done.

Splendid vented. 11 years with only one problem. Slow, but who cares. It is a start and forget so no need to return to move wet clothes.

I bought a Danby washer from Walmart 4 years ago and have been very happy with it.
The spin cycle gets most of the water out and we hang the wash in the camper overnight to dry. Spent a third of the money, and pull it out in the winter so I don't worry about winterizing.
