maiden voyage

well, we took our maiden trip in our new to us fifth wheel and truck. after a month of trying to get a hitch in the new dodge 2500, we went to a little park near us and checked out all the systems, all worked great, and the truck pulled like a champ. I never pulled a fifth wheel, but it pulls easier than our hybrid did behind the f150. we are leaving for an 1800 mile trip this weekend, can't wait. we are looking forward to it.

We took our maiden voyage this weekend we only went an hour from the house but it was fantastic, going again next weekend. We had a great laugh when we thought there was something major wrong with our truck it was making a funny noise actually thought it was over heating, but the noise we were hearing was from the back up camera we could hear the vehicles pass us. Were going to go camping around florida for a while before we venture farther.

I had a similar experience with towing. I thought it would be harder than it was. Now go out and have some fun.
