MORryde CRE 3000

Iโ€™ve got the wheels off my fiver waiting for the tire shop to get in the proper valve stems for my TPMS and thinking maybe I should change the shackle bushings and shocks. Any recommendation on shocks? Is the Morryde 3000 worth it? Maybe I should be asking if the SRE 4000 is worth it? I canโ€™t see it making a huge difference but I guess itโ€™s not real expensive either.

You can't even put the IS in the same sentence as any of the other suspensions.

Four wheel fully independent and alignable.

4x4ord you are more than talented enough to do the install your self. If planning to keep your RV get it done. You can thank me later.

One of my first fifth wheels (25 years ago) did not have shocks so I went to a parts store and bought four HD gas Magnumโ€˜s for the front of a pick up because they were short enough to work on an RV. I made my own mounts and welded them on and those HD pick up shocks make the Monroe RV shocks, which Iโ€™ve had on later 5ers, look like junk but they work OK. Craig

Monroe 555001 is as good as it gets for RV shocks.

I had the SRE 4000 installed on our Reflection 303rls and it was a great improvement. If I had the $$$, I would have gone with the MORryde IS.

Our 08, 15 K pound fiver has LRE and it rides really nice. Itโ€™s even a rear kitchen and things stay put on the counters, nothing breaks nothing flies out of the cabinets.

No complaints about my old Montana fifth wheel that came with the LRE MorRyde suspension , other then the rubber bushings wore out ,and needed replacing . I have to believe the newer MorRyde SRE suspension is better . Short of IS suspension , the SRE is about as good as you can go for the money .

Our Big Country came w/ the CRE 3000 and have to say, quite impressed w/ them. Nothing moves inside, rides very well. The 4000's did have a issue to which I believe More Ryde addressed. A lot of mfr's are using the 3000's as std issue. Ironically, ours didn't come w/ wet bolts, so had to install them myself. The coach weighs 14k empty and 16k fully loaded. I would go w/ them again.

Here's my understanding from MORryde: The SRE 3000 gives 3 inches of travel, the SRE 4000 4 inches of travel, while the IS is 5 inches plus
2018 Chevy 3500HD High Country Crew Cab DRW, D/A, 2016 Redwood 39MB, Dual AC, Fireplace, Sleep #Bed, Auto Sat Dish, Stack Washer/Dryer, Auto Level Sys, Disk Brakes, Onan Gen, 17.5" "H" tires, MORryde Pin & IS, Comfort Ride, Dual Awnings, Full Body Paint

My 2016 Redwood had the Morryde IS on it, when it was totaled we purchased another Redwood but could NOT get Morryde to do the install that quick, so we took delivery .

We had made arrangements to have the trailer back in Indiana about a month after I took delivery to get the IS and disc brakes installed...

The new ( 2020 ) Redwood came with the Morryde SRE4000 ... We had 2 trips with the original ( SRE4000) and disc brakes... My wife and I had serious conversations about NOT spending the extra money for the IS as the SRE 4000 was that nice of a ride... NOT IS nice, but soooo much better than regular suspension ...

Anyway, we took it to Morryde, had the IS installed and the SRE4000 boxed and in the truck as I had sold it online before the swap happened..:B
