My sink is falling

Got home from a three hour drive and parked it in the home base spot. Got out to start putting things away and drying out from having to pack in the rain and my dw come in and says the sink is sagging.
We have marble countertops and an under slung metal sink. Apparently the silicone lost its sticky and the thing retainer clips didn't help out much either. I think the marble sink covers are just too much weight for our rough roads. Guess I'll have to find a place to store them during travel.
So now, the doors are off, shelf torn out, bottle jack installed and sink reglued into place. Just need to make a couple more retainer clips that are a little beefier than the originals.
Should be good to go for next weeks trip to Rushmore and Wyoming. I hope.

I siliconed my sink and cut some 1 x 2 pine the correct length and wedged them against the flange on the sink to the shelf. Ron Day

An accountant... FWIW, why does anyone need =marble= countertops for in an RV...unless you're some movie star, or sumpin'? ๐Ÿ™‚

I used Cinclips when I had to support our sink. They worked.

Very bad to leave sink covers in place. They can become projectiles!!!

Ahh didn't get to Lowes today. And didn't think of it when I was at Menards either. On the list for tomorrow I guess.

We never travel with the sink covers in place. Still had to put better retainers on. Installed 6. Can't tell you the name but got them at Lowe's.
