NEED BEDROOM SLIDE HELP

In fort myers. Neighbor in the campground has an older Sandpiper 5th wheel. Due to water damage the floor of his bedroom slide has been destroyed. We have it cleaned up pretty well and can replace the wood. Problem is the wood was destroyed to the point that I can't tell how the hydraulic slide angle iron was attached to the slide. The angle Iron had 4 bolts in it. The bolts did not go through the floor as far as I can tell. Yet each bolt had a "gob" of wood attached to it. The gobs were the remnant's of what looked like wood spacers. There were no bolt holes in the floor. So, does anyone know how the heck it's supposed to be connected if not bolted to the floor? Thanks for the help. I had some pictures but I guess I can't attach a picture. Sorry. But if you have any ideas please share. Thank you for the help.

I had the exact thing happen to my 2010 Fuzion bedroom slide.

The angle iron is attached to the slide floor by carriage bolts run up through the floor and bolted into the angle iron, which is bolted to the slide actuating cylinder. The underside of the slide floor was protected by a waterproof covering that was glued to the floor.

That's how ours was.

I just go to the forum help and support at top of page and read the sticky.

You have to post your pictures to some web site such as Photobucket or one of the many other photo hosting sites. Then you use the URL for the picture from that web site.

Over my head. I got a request for a complete URL or the pic dimensions. I entered the dimensions and didn't get anything but what I entered. I probably should know how to enter a complete URL to my documents file, but I don't.

You can attach images, use the advanced post form button and you'll see a yellow icon with a mountain and sun on it. Click that and you can add a photo.
