Need help with 2008 KZ MXT 188

A friend of mine just bought a 2008 KZ MXT 188, and I am trying to help him get started with it. I am trying to figure out how to fill the fresh water tank.

I've been doing some searching, and found that KZ did away with gravity fill on many of their campers. Apparently, this is one of them. To fill the water tank, you are supposed to connect a hose to the city water supply connection, and then turn a valve somewhere. I have been trying to find this valve.

After looking around for a while, I found a valve inside the kitchen cabinet, near the left front corner of the camper. Following the hose from this valve, it looks like it is teed off from another line. Does this sound like the valve I am looking for?

I can post a picture if it will help.

Thanks.

I called the dealer that sold him the camper and verified that the valve described above is indeed the one used to fill the water tank.

It looks like they could have at least put it on the outside next to the water hose connection, but I guess that makes way too much sense.

I'm surprised that the required valving isn't in the wet bay, or on a water panel....same place city water hookup is.

But that is a very basic TH.
I would hook up city water and open that valve.
Is it time for your medication or mine?
