Need New Floor

Our 2006 Mobile Suite Fifth wheel has worn carpet and the off door slide has damaged the vinyl in the kitchen area. I would like to replace all of the carpet with vinyl or laminate flooring and just use rugs on the floor. How feasible is this in terms of the slide outs(3)function, cost ect? How did you upgrade your floor? We like the unit and it is paid for.

Same here and I left it floating. My living room slide goes over it very easy.

I put down floating laminate flooring in the kitchen area to replace the vinyl flooring. It was some cheap stuff I had left over from a house. I had to end up brad nailing each piece cause they seemed to separate from one another due to the flexing of the floor.

I would recommend plank vinyl for the traffic areas. It is like laminate planks but vinyl. The good grade stuff looks like wood and wears like iron. Under and around slides might need a sheet product but a flooring guy would be able to tell you for sure. But thumbs up on vinyl planks.
