New Montana High Country weight capacity question

Hello!

We just bought a new 2016 356BH Montana. The dry weight is listed at 12,185 and the carrying capacity is 3,015 for a total of 15,200. Well I crawled under to check things out and noticed it has two 7,000# axles. Am I missing something here or do they normally go over capacity of the axles? Or do I subtract the pin weight from the gross also? I'm thinking about adding a cargo rack on the back that's why I'm curious. Thanks for any help!

Trailer GVWR 15,200 can have a pin wet around 3000#

15,200 mnus 3000 has 12,200 being carried by the two (2) 7K axles (14K) so you have axle capacity.

Have you weighed your truck 'camp ready' (all people/pets/stuff/fuel) cause you will be pushing/possible over on your 2011 F350 ratings ??

I haven't weighed with the new trailer. I did with our 07 Keystone Raptor and I was at 27,500 with everything. This Montana feels much lighter overall but has a lot more pin weight.

Thanks for everyone else's responses!

Is it time for your medication or mine?

Bingo. Figure if your at 15000 lbs about 20% on pin is 3000 lbs. That's 12000 or 6000 each per axle.

Your good.
