^I agree, even light duty steps are not going to collapse. My last two FWs have had 3-steps not 4 as pictured. The previous FW steps did flex more than I liked, when stepping on a corner, but not a real problem. Current fold out steps, are very solid and are a great Lippert product. They do have a wt rating, IIRC 300 lbs?

In all your post you are not one to go cheap.
Get a set of real Torxlift glow steps. They will look the same as those fake torxlift's you posted. But they will actually be totally stable because they will be supported by the ground.
You know better that to bargain shop!:B
Not sure who you are talking to???
I was asked by TorkLift to try out a set and was told I could keep them if I would give my honest opinion.. I declined but IMHO they are nice quality but I love what I have.
Granted they are your steps and I understand you are happy with them which is all that really matters.
But those steps simply don't compare to true Torxlift steps simply because they are unsupported.

When was the last time a set of unsupported steps collapsed? I've never heard of it, and the steps don't flex as much as the trailer suspension moves when weight is applied. No big deal, unless you have mobility issues. I've had both and see no advantage to the solid steps that outweigh their inconvenience.

They have to be adjusted for almost every time they are deployed.
