Hey everyone, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 5th wheel I found. The one I found is a 2008 fuzion 302.

Now, I haven't read a whole lot about the trailer but it has the layout I want in the size that's rite.

The deal here. That I want your opinion on is that I live in southern Cali and the trailer is being sold by camping world in Tallahassee Florida. They said they will take 33k shipped and out the door. What do you guys think??

If you are happy with the price that is what matters. If it is in good shape then it is probably a good deal.

Is it This one?

Okay I'm taking everyone's advice and looking locally.
I found a 2009 raptor 300p at giant rv. They were asking 43k but said they would take 34k what do you guys think? Also it is a velocity. What is the velocity ?

I must agree with the above poster, there is just no way I would buy an RV, especially a used one, sight unseen from a dealer on the opposite coast. There are simply too many things that can go wrong/be wrong.
Find one closer to you that you can go put your own eyeballs on, and examine with a fine tooth comb. If you buy from a local dealer at least you will have someone you can go back to for service should the need arise. If you are not familiar with RV's take someone who is when you have found a coach that you are serious about.
Please...really think this through before pulling the trigger.

I don't want to sound too harsh, but buying an RV sight unseen, and without an extensive PDI is foolish in my book.

What kind of warranty are they offering? If you don't get at least a year's bumper-to-bumper warranty you could be looking at a lot more money to spend if there are any issues, and it would be very strange if there aren't at least a couple of things.

Just hope you have enough truck for it. They are nice, but loaded can be around 16k lbs.

Tongue weight can be from 1200 to 2400 lbs too, depending on what you load.

a 1 ton chevy ford, or dodge dually would be hard pressed in any model other then turbo diesals IMO..

A 450 series would be my choice.

But let the 5th wheel guys tell you.. You did not state what TV you have...

Buying a TT without seeing it in person? Sound to risky for my blood. Think I would be making a trip to Florida.
