Power Assist Ramp Modification (Toy Hauler)

BTW...Talking about projects that we REALLy don't need, but make life SOOO much better!
How about a winch to assist the raising of the loading ramp on my toy hauler. Did this project last night and finished it this AM.

I wish I had talent and skills....great job, but then you already knew that. I have a rear ramp and a side patio that both fold down, it is for sure a too person job to lift back in place.

Yes...on this trailer there is a solid wood header. I bolted right through it.

How did you mount the winch up there ? Bolts all the way through to outside ?
