rear Lippert stabilizers

Have a 2007 Jayco Designer and the rear stabilizers will not go down. When I push the extend switch it humms and then clicks off. Thought maybe the motor was shot so tried to remove it. The problem is it doesn't want to come off the extension shaft. Took the bolts off but it won't come off. Any ideas what to do. Headed south in 2 weeks. I thought the motor would or should come off the shaft gear. Any ideas?

The problem appears to be the motor. I unbolted the motor and the shaft moves freely. Problem is with the wiring, you can only turn it a few times. I don't mind cranking it by hand, but the motor will not come off the shaft. Sprayer it with Blaster and no luck. Afraid to pry it to hard since I didn't want to break the stabilizer.

This is almost exactly what I had to do this past June with my Lippert rear stabilizers. They'd engage, but immediately quit.

I took everything apart and finally had to force the stabilizers manually. I used spray lube twice for them to work properly.

Motor humms then clicks off cause stabilizers are jammed closed and overload on motor trips it.

Go under trailer and unbind the jacks (stuck inside mounted track)
Have someone operate them manually (use crank rod on opposite side of motor) while you use a screw driver to unbind them.

Never worked on one but here is the Lippert Manual

E-Trailer has a wide selection of motors so maybe you can get from them when you get the old one off. They are usually much less than purchasing direct from Lippert.
