Just got back home yesterday from our 1st trip. We camped close to home 120 miles at Fort Fisher near Wilmington. We used or tested every system on our new rig, and I am happy to say it went great. All we found was a burned out light bulb.
We did get an unexpected test of the emergency break away brakes. Leaving our site it was a very sharp turn and the lanyard got caught on a bolt on the hitch. When I straightened out I said it felt like a brake locked up when I did a walk around I notice the lanyard had pulled. I plugged it back in and off we went.
We couldnโt be happier the trip went smooth, and we love our new 5th wheel. Our next trip is in July and we are already counting down the days.
