Slide out making noise and not moving

Looking for any info on my problem. I have a 1999 fifth avenue by thor 5th wheel. The one slide dose not want to go in or out. The motor/ screw acuator is a Thomson Saginaw Peformance Pak. The part number is 7828696 and is 12 v with a 18:1 gear ratio.
I manually cranked it out while my buddy held the button in. He thinks the motor is shot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The switch can get very worn too and just not pass enough current along.

Pull the motor out, probably only two bolts and test it with a 12V source. You'll have to ground the case. One wire is retract and the other is extend. My wife is on the way home right now with a new one for our main slide--$250 at the local RV center. You can get them online too. Replacements come with the gears.
