SLIDEOUT PROBLEM?

Had the camper opened up today to clean for upcoming trip. When I closed it up the slide outs closed but seemed a little different. All 3 are hydrolic and operate from 1 switch. When I close them the bedroom goes first then the small one in the living area and lastly the large one in the living area. The first 2 closed fine. The third got just about closed when it seem to stall then continue to close a couple of times but did close all the way.
I am plugged into 120 volt 30 amp outlet. Fluid level seems fine. Is something about to go wrong? Any ideas what could cause this?

I agree with kakampers re: breaker. After repeated tripping these breakers weaken and are simple to replace. In my case I replaced my 50 with a 50 from Napa for about $9.00. But it sounds like you've got it fixed, so happy traveling !!!

I was just taking a shot at it, but unless you have bad batts, I doubt that my suggestion is your problem.

Downthe road, I believe you were correct. The next day I notice that one of the nuts on a terminal on the motor was loose. Also was checking the circuit breakers connected to the battery and I think one of them was tripped.
Went on trip the past few days and the slide outs ran properly. So even though I was plugged into to land power I don't think the battery was getting charged. Just wanted to let you know.

Have you checked the fluid level in them? Might have low/dry cells.

Had the same issue....replaced the 50 amp with and 80 amp....problem solved!

The breaker does not reset in a matter if a second or two. It takes longer. Make sure you have 12.5 volts or higher at the motor when running.

You can also find the hydraulic valve manifold and set the valves so that only the one slide will run. Read the manual on your slides.

Found that the motor is connected to a 50amp auto reset breaker. I am guessing that breaker is tripping and resetting creating the pause in the movement. Makes me believe that there is some additional strain on the system . I will investigate tomorrow.

if your 12 wildcat is anything like mine 2012 wildcat i also have 3 slides with hyd and you only need to be plugged into shore power as no battery is required, mine does not like 15amp service very much so I try to plug into 20amp but it also blows that GFI sometimes. it sounds like it just had a hard time getting it in all the way as my large slide does this also unless I am on 50amp service

I perioically wipe the hydraulic shafts and spray with dry lube. I use it on all the slide moving parts.

My slides operate on 12v DC...even if plugged into shore power...make sure your batteries are fully charged. What you are describing sounds like weak batts.
