Small Toy Hauler With Outside Storage or Seperate Garage

Hello -

So we have a 21 ft Rockwood Mini-Lite right now that I love. We want to get quads so know that we would like some type of toy hauler in the future and have started looking around.

I don't like the idea of keeping the quads inside, I have seen some with an outside storage deck (I love this idea!) but could only find one model (Highlander) with that option and without the pop out bed.

The other option would be an inside separate garage, but I don't want to end up with a 40' trailer as that limits where we can go.

Any suggestions? I figure if I ask the experts I might get something better than Google! ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a Dodge 2500 Diesel. So we should be good on weight. I am more worried about the maneuvering into places as we typically like to dry camp farther off the beaten path. Right now our little guy is perfect as far as living space, we would just like to haul quads. 30 feet isn't too horrible, just don't want to be much more than that.

I am not a huge fan of the pop ups either. I like to get there and basically be ready to have fun, not spend the time putting everything together.

The plan right now is to just drive up north separate when we get quads while researching our options.

you're going to be limited if you want a separate garage, what are your objections to an "open" floor plan? Quads take up a LOT of room unless you stand them up. You're probably looking at a 30' tag TH minimum with a garage big enough for two quads on their wheels.

The only ones I've seen with outside decks are pop ups and then the tongue weight has got to be very high.

What are you towing with?
