Some peoples kids

I picked up a use 5th wheel (for a heck of a price) for my son who is currently enlisted in the Army National Guard.

I seen this prior to buying it, but I have to wonder, "why would anyone do this"?

Took me a few hours with a dental pick and fin comb, but it turned out very well.

I probably shouldn't have assumed it was kids, but I have a friend and his kids did the same thing to his camper. So I just assumed the same happened in this case since there was no hail damage anywhere else.

It is likely small hail also could have done this as well as I agree the fins are very soft compared to the siding.

I'm guessing a person tried to clean the coils with either a pressure washer or high pressure nozzle and garden hose.

From my experience in the AC industry the hail doesn't have to be very large to damage a coil like that. The aluminum on a condenser coil is much thinner than the aluminum used for siding.

Yes, the AC works just fine. I initially thought hail, but there is no signs of hail dents on the aluminum siding.

This is one of two issues the camper had. The other one was more involved as I had to replace the rear 4 feet of the floor. It was all rotted from a water leak from the rear tail light. It is as good as new now.
