Switching G4 Bulb From Halogen to LED With A Dimmer Switch

I currently have 33 ITC lights in my RV that I'm looking to switch over from halogen to LED. However, they all run off dimmer switches. I can't figure out if the LED bulbs will dim with the switch I have (I don't know what switch it is but the RV is from 2005). Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks

Glad to be of help. I've being using their products since 2009 and have bought more over the years.

Recently I installed a pair of these http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/compact-led-flood-light-900-lumens-4-LED-hd26004-3WFL.htm
for aux backup lights on my truck.

These work with a dimmer, I used them and my lights are controlled by a dimmer:

They are 12V DC lights. Thanks for the replies, I'll take a look and see if I can find some that will work with the dimmer.

You need to buy the correct LED G4 bulbs that work with a dimmer:

Are these 12 volt lights, or do they only work when you're on AC power?

Assuming 12 volt (DC) lights:
The LEDs will not dim the same was as your halogen lights currently do. Depending on the dimmer, the LEDs will go from bright to dim quickly, and then off for most of the dial, or they'll be unchanged for most of the dial and then dim / go out.

Depends on the LED replacement bulb as well. If you use LEDs with built in converters (aka the expensive bulbs), they won't dim and may be damaged by attempted dimming. If you're using generic bulbs from ebay, they may dim somewhat, and would not be damaged by the dimmer.
