We're considering buying a three wheel bicycle that will collapse for travel. Anyone have any experience, pro or con?

We have a 3 wheel bike from camping world. It folds but the front fork had to be removed for travel. Our basement door is not nearly as high as newer fifthwheels.

DW has a 3 wheel bike that does not collapse so I made a cargo carrier for the rear of our 5er and we carry it there, my 2 wheel bike rides in front of our truck. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had a beach cruiser bike with a side car and bench seat that was pretty cool. Brought it back from the Philippines. Only problem was people not being use to riding it and running the side car wheel into the curb a lot. Changed the rim a couple of times. I see a lot of happy people riding the trike bikes in the RV parks, let someone or a dealer know your considering one and take a test ride. Just don't bend the wheel on a curb. lol

I had a Joyrider. Handkerchief bars folded down. Than I hung it on the rear ladder.
It was a low rider with an open frame on the left. So you just walked into it and sat down.
I later added an electric motor drive to it. To help in the hills back here in TN.

Sold it a few years back.

None, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express1 :B

Actually, and seriously, did see an electric model advertised at a mall in Sioux Falls SD. Pricey little devil, around $2300.

Folds down for storage. Made by a company called MyGoPet.

I have no experience with tricycles that collapse. My adult tricycle is made by Schwinn but it is not collapsible, so we bought Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Trike Carrier for 1 Trike and 1 Bike - 2" Hitches to carry it and my wife's bicycle. It works very well.
